Loyalty To Mobile Phone Brand And Network

Recent research has found that when it’s time to upgrade, a quarter of mobile phone users are loyal to the network while one-third loyal to the brand manufacturer. The survey questioned over 1,780 people.

Samsung And Yahoo Form Strategic Partnership

Mobile phone manufacturer Samsung and Internet business Yahoo have formed a partnership to offer Yahoo services on Samsung phones.
In a press release, David Ko who is senior vice president of Yahoo’s Audience, Mobile and Local division said: “By making our most popular Yahoo services available on Samsung mobile devices around the world, we’re providing consumers with personally relevant mobile Internet experiences that make it easy for them to stay connected to what’s important to them and explore the full potential of their device.”
He continued: “We’re thrilled to deepen our relationship with Samsung and look forward to continuing to drive the global adoption of mobile Internet services.”

Garmin-Asus Release Launch New Handset

Garmin-Asus are to release a new Nuviphone called the A10 PND. Its focus will be on GPS functionality and so will come pre loaded with Garmin mapping software.
