Sony Ericsson PlayStation Phone Spotted On The Internet

Ahead of its official launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) next month, Sony Ericsson’s new hybrid phone was spotted on the Internet. Until now, nobody really knew what specifications the PlayStation phone featured.

BlackBerry May Be Able To Run Android Applications

In an interesting development, RIM has said that their QNX platform handsets could possibly run Android applications.
Apparently both QNX and Android operating systems share a common feature – Java VM.
Speaking with knowyourmobile.com an analyst said: “We (Boy Genius Report) have been told RIM is very much considering the Dalvik virtual machine, and we ultimately expect the company to choose Dalvik.”
He added: “If that sounds familiar to you, it’s because it’s the same VM that the Android OS uses and it would allow RIM’s PlayBook and other QNX devices to run just about any application built for the Android platform.”
While on the surface this appears to be good news, some commentators believe Google may expect RIM to offer something in return for allowing BlackBerry users access to the Android Market.… Read the rest

Four New Samsung Phones Revealed

Recent rumours about what Samsung has been up to were quashed when the company announced the launch of not one, but four new smartphones. They are the Galaxy Ace, the Galaxy Gio, the Galaxy Fit, and the Galaxy Mini.  All will run on Android 2.2.
