One school in the UK has decided to start its own mobile phone and ink cartridge relocation programme, but any school could benefit from donations. There are millions of new mobile phones manufactured and sold each year.

MoneyWise.co.uk, a financial based website, have published an article on their website revealing the top ten mobile phones to recycle taken from SellMyMobile.com data which was collected over the Christmas period. It includes the most expensive phones to be traded in, along with a statement by SellMyMobile.com’s MD, Keir McConomy.

The Daily Mail have recently published a news piece on their website which highlights some facts on how Blackberry handsets were 40% of the total recycled phones in the last part of 2011. With a total of £2.63M worth of mobiles recycled it shows that people are looking to part ways with Blackberry devices.

This Is Money recently published an article on their website which highlights how Blackberry handsets have suffered in the last quarter of 2011, with Blackberry taking up over 40% of the total phones being recycled.
