Samsung Galaxy Grand Set For Europe Soon
The Samsung Galaxy Grand is one of those phones that appear to have slipped right under the net as most Samsung chatter of late has been focused around the Galaxy S3, Note 2, and of course the Galaxy S4.
However, Samsung tend to release quite a few cheaper Smartphone’s and the Galaxy Grand is one of those phones that is expected to touch down in Europe very soon.
The Grand is basically a scaled down version of the Note 2 with Android’s 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS, and single or dual SIM support.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Grand i9082 will be unveiled in the Ukraine in February 2013, and other European countries should see the device arrive at their shores within the same month.
What About The Price?
Although we know the price we can’t give an exact UK price at the moment. We do know however, that it will be tagged at 4,444 UAH (Ukrainian Hryvna) which equates to 409 EUR. Therefore, if you convert that to the British Pound you are looking at the £339-£360 region.
My first thought on this was “That’s a bit pricey for an apparent cheaper version of the note”, when you take into account the Galaxy Note 2 is just £60-£80 more.
Does the Galaxy Grand interest you or do you think it’s too expensive?
