The BlackBerry 6 OS; RIMs Second Wind?

Between the Apple iPhone and Google Android OS, BlackBerry has been having a bit of a hard time maintaining its position within the smartphone market. In fact, in a recent survey in the USA, only 42 percent of people who currently owned a BlackBerry were intending to stay with the platform for their next mobile purchase. This is in contrast to 89 percent of iPhone owners and 71 percent of Android OS users.
BlackBerry Torch 9800: RIM’s New Slider Touch Smartphone

Designed to rival the Apple iPhone and Android OS, the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 is the first slider touch smartphone offering by RIM, complete with the new BlackBerry 6 OS installed. Soon to be Available through AT&T in the US, the phone will debut at $199 USD. A UK release is expected within the next few months.
BlackBerry Pearl 9105 Announced for Europe

RIM, the makers of BlackBerry, has recently announced that they will soon be launching their new Smartphone, the BlackBerry Pearl 9105, in Europe. The European version of the Pearl is the first BlackBerry to feature an alpha-numeric keypad over the traditional QWERTY and semi-QWERTY keyboards generally found in their phones. The phone also features a new optical track pad over the traditional BlackBerry trackball.
