There really is no excuse not to recycle your old mobile

With that cute little orange-coloured guy all over our television sets encouraging us to recycle our mobiles, you’d think more people would be aware of the benefits of recycling mobile phones. But still, people don’t do it – despite the benefits to both them and the environment. Perhaps they think it is too difficult. Perhaps they aren’t sure about how trustworthy mobile phone recycling companies are. Perhaps they don’t think their phone is worth enough. Perhaps… well, who knows what people think? What I do know is that there really is no excuse not to recycle your old mobile phone.

I know I’ve said this before, but it’s well worth repeating: if money isn’t enough of an incentive for you to get that old mobile out of whatever drawer, box, or cupboard you’ve tossed it into, clean it up, and ship it off for recycling then maybe doing something good for the planet is. Recycling your mobile is an environmentally friendly thing to do. And, we all want to be environmentally friendly don’t we? Of course we do! Even people who say they don’t secretly do! After all, it’s the only planet we have – we can’t just rubbish it out and move on to a cleaner place.
