Apple to Release New iPhone in September
Well that’s the opinion of one expert organisation – Bloomberg in the US. So, whether this is just another rumour or something more definite is once more anyone’s guess. That said Bloomberg and others seem to have gleaned some information others haven’t. For instance, it is thought that the iPhone 5 will have an 8 megapixel camera, the same A5 processor already installed in the iPad 2 and a different design. There is even a suggestion the shape of the device will be a unique teardrop shape.
The rumours about this new handset have been doing the rounds for months now, so it is hard to be certain about anything. The recent World Mobile Developers Conference turned out to be software focused with Apple announcing the new update of its operating system and not the iPhone 5. However experts attending this event, suggest that this is just a prelude for an official August announcement of the device or something similar using the iOS 5 version of the platform.
Apple has always been known for its secrecy, but the company also seems to have taken a leaf out of Sony Ericsson’s book and started a cat and mouse game with the mobile phone world. Some commentators though are sticking with the view that the only thing to come out this September from the Apple stable is the new operating system update. They also suggest that the iOS 5 is probably just as good, if not better than owning a new physical device.
