Well, not quite. Three has announced it is offering its customer the chance to access Facebook for free from handsets using their network. However the only thing available at the moment at least is a list of status updates. There are no graphics.
To access the free service, Three UK’s customers simply visit 0.facebook.com.

In yet another blow to Nokia, Sony Ericsson has now decided to stop using the Symbian operating system in their handsets.
Speaking in a press release, a spokesman for Sony Ericsson, Aldo Liguori said: ‘We have no plans for the time being to develop any new products to the Symbian Foundation standard or operating system.”

Nokia originally announced a September launch for its much awaited N8 handset. However, reports now suggest this date has been put back to the third week in October.

Well, that is the rumour anyway. Like all rumours this may again fall by the wayside.
