It may be a little late in coming, but you will be able to get your hands on an iPhone 4 on the Three UK network in the very near future.

That’s the good news. Unfortunately, the bad news is – no firm date has been announced. That said Three has published tariffs for both the 16GB and 32GB versions of the handset so it must be fairly imminent.

The cheapest tariff which applies to both the 16GB and 32GB devices starts from £30 per month. For that you get 500 cross-network anytime minutes, 5000 Three-to-Three minutes and 5000 texts. There is also a generous 1GB internet allowance.

The 16GB version will cost you £99 while the 32GB is £189.

If you are prepared to pay £40 per month then you can get the 16GB handset for just £59 and the 32GB for £149. The monthly tariff is similar to that outlined above except that you get an additional 1500 cross-network anytime minutes.

Three is offering a free 16GB iPhone 4 handset provided you pay £45 per month, for which you get 2000 cross-network anytime minutes, 5000 texts and 5000 Three-to-Three minutes plus 1GB internet allowance.

At the moment it doesn’t appear that Three is prepared to give away the 32GB version. But, if you prepared to pay the same monthly line rental fee as the 16GB little brother, that is £45 per month, then you can get the 32GB iPhone for just £89.
