New Game For The iPhone
Cave Software has announced a new game for the Apple iPhone.
Called Dodonpachi Resurrection, it is available now from the Apple applications store for an introductory price of £2.99. But you’ll have to hurry as the price will be going up to £5.49 from the 29th of August.
Dodonpachi Resurrection is another of the ‘shoot ‘em up’ games which seem to pervade computers and smartphones these days. However this particular game is powerfully built such that it is only able to be played on high spec devices such as the iPhone 4. The latter’s predecessor the iPhone 3 and the iPod Touch just can’t cope with the intense action and game play of this mobile game.
Observers testing the new game on the iPhone 4 have also said that the game uses up a lot of memory resources thanks to the speed of game play as you dodge bullets and missiles before coming face to face with the bosses at the end of each level.
It has also been noted that the learning curve is pretty steep but thankfully there is a Practice Mode to help you get to grips with the game – which is an improvement on Cave Software’s previous game Espgaluda II.
The game is not as cheap other games available for download. However Cave Software has produced a ‘lite’ version so you can test it out before deciding on whether you wish to buy the full version.
