New Puzzle Game Taking Android by Storm
Cut the Rope, is now available on Android Phones, and it has taken off where Angry Birds left off.
The game itself is apparently very simple but addictive, even though it is just about (as its name implies) cutting ropes while carrying out various tasks.
Experts are not only impressed by the game itself, but are impressed with the tremendous graphics used, plus the fact there are 175 levels of play. Speaking with an online mobile phone company, Efim Voinov, CTO at ZeptoLab, developer of the game said: “Demand for Cut the Rope on Android has surged since we first launched on the iOS platform last year.” He added: “We have worked diligently to bring the same level of quality gameplay and fun to Android users that iOS users have been enjoying over the past year.”
Cut the Rope is already available for Apple devices, and became an instant hit when it was first released. It is now expected to surge in popularity again, now that it is available for Android smartphones. What’s more the game won the ‘Apple Design Award for Best iPhone Developer Showcase’; it also received a BAFTA award in the category ‘Best Handheld Game.’
Games have become part and parcel of smartphones in just the way that they became important for PCs. However when mobile phones were originally invented the games were rather primitive. This is clearly no longer the case.
Cut the Rope will be available from a number of App stores this week.
