New T-Mobile Spotted on the Web

new release New T Mobile Spotted on the WebAlong with other network operators, T-Mobile has been busy developing its own smartphones, which are generally budget devices. The latest to be spotted online recently is the T-Mobile Vivacity.

While no real data about this new smartphone has been officially released, images have been appearing on the network operator’s sales web page. This is rather surprising, since anyone thinking of getting the handset is unlikely to do so unless there is information about its specifications.

That said, some experts believe the T-Mobile Vivacity features Android 2.3 Gingerbread (not Ice Cream Sandwich), a 3.5-inch display (HVGA or possibly WVGA), a front-facing camera for video calling and a rear 5 megapixel camera for normal photographs. Other features are likely to be 3G, Wi-fi and GPS.

This is pretty standard stuff. Time will tell whether there is anything more interesting when T-Mobile decides to officially announce the Vivacity. Until then, you will have to wait. This includes pricing and any contract plans. As a budget phone, expect to pay around £100 outright for pay as you go.

Talking of photos, images of Nokia’s Windows Phone 7 handset – the Lumia 601- have also been published online, although many experts are unsure. Nokia has been a little coy over this. Unfortunately details of the device cannot actually be seen properly.
Nokia and Microsoft will be banking on the Lumia 601 being a success, so a little coyness about what it offers could prove a good marketing ploy.
