Nokia unveils two new devices
Nokia has finally revealed two new smartphones, which it hopes will launch the company to a better future.
The two devices are the Asha 308 and Asha 309. Interestingly, they are not part of the Lumia range. Moreover they are budget phones, which on the whole is the market that Nokia appears to be doing best in.
Even more interesting is the fact that new handsets will run Nokia’s Series 40 platform.
Although very little as yet is known about these particular devices, experts do say there does not appear to be much difference between the Asha 308 and 309. The former is believed to be a dual-SIM device while the latter uses just a single SIM.
Both also come pre-loaded with EA games and standalone social media features, gaining easy access to Facebook and Twitter.
As for the price, both the Asha 308 and 309 are likely to be on sale for less than £100.
In other news, it has been announced that the Samsung tablet – the Galaxy Note II – will be available from next month.
The 5.5-inch mobile device is the second generation of the popular tablet manufactured by Samsung. It will run Jelly Bean, which will please fans of this particular gadget.
It also comes with the S-Pen, which apparently was considered a daft idea originally but is now accepted as a rather innovative suggestion.
If you want one, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is expected to be available from all major UK networks and shops.
