A special edition of Samsung’s handset, the Monte S5620 has been launched.

This new mobile phone will come pre-loaded with a SD card, which contains the feature length film, Iron Man.

What’s more, customers will also have access to exclusive previews of the second Iron Man film, which stars Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The Iron Man package is being sold exclusively through the O2 network May until stocks last.

The Samsung Monte was announced by the company last February, although at the time little was known about its features.

The phone is operated completely by touchscreen and runs on Samsung’s own operating system, the TouchWiz 2.0 Plus User Interface.

It has social networking integration with most if not all sites including MySpace, Twitter, Facebook  and Bebo. The handset also features Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS and also a 3.2 megapixel camera.

Also included are Google utilities such as Google Latitude and Google Sync. The camera also includes face detection, smile shot and panorama shot facilities.

In an interview with akihabaranews.com after the launch of the Monte, JK Shin president and head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics said: “Samsung Monte is designed for those who appreciate beautiful design and outstanding performance at affordable price. The phone offers a compelling set of features, such as the native social networking applications, with an intelligent User Interface, design and connectivity options to provide users with the performance they demand.”
