If you would like an iPhone 4 but can’t afford the cost, then you’re in luck. You can now get your hands on one for free – even on a 24 month contract.

The giveaway is a result of Orange revamping its tariffs to include a number of extras such as picture messaging and Satnav.

However in order to qualify for a free 16GB version of the iPhone you are going to have to fork out £50 per month. This is a hefty amount to have to pay out each month; it works out at £1200 on a 24 month contract.

Orange’s tariff also includes 1200 minutes, unlimited text messages and 500mb of mobile data.

This particular deal will probably suit customers who spend a minimum of £50 per month already.

In other news, the other half of the new Orange-T Mobile partnership has confirmed the existence of the T-Mobile G2. This is a follow on from the G1smartphone.

The T-Mobile G2 is believed to feature HSPA+ (3.5 – 4G) technology. It is also thought to incorporate a 1.5GHz microprocessor.

The G1 series phone was the first handset to use the Android operating system when it was launched in 2008. In just two short years Google has taken the system to the number one spot worldwide.

Except for the push towards being the first HSPA+ compatible smartphone by T-Mobile, nothing else is known about the handset. Observers say they should know more at the forthcoming HTC conference.
