Photos of New Google Nexus S Released
Well, not actually the phone but its Operating System, which will apparently be Android 2.3.
So, at least it’s been confirmed albeit in a roundabout way that Google is creating a follow on from the company’s original smartphone.
While there are no photos at the moment for the new handset, there is some information about its specifications. These include: a dual core ArmV7 CPU possibly a 4 inch Super AMOLED display panel, a WVGA display and 720p video recording. The screen resolution is 800 X 480 megapixels.
Other possible features are 512 or 328MB Ram and 1GB or 2GB Internal Memory. The display could also possibly be the Super AMOLED 2 version.
Another new android phone soon to hit the markets is Samsung’s Stealth V.
From information leaked to the internet it appears that the new device will feature a 4.3 inch AMOLED screen. The use of larger screens seems to be a growing phenomenon.
The new handset was published on Samsung’s online ‘Hub’ after receiving a DLNA licence (Pictured). This appears to indicate, according to those in the know, that the Stealth V will feature media streaming technology.
The Stealth V is the latest in the ‘Galaxy family’ which includes the Galaxy S. It also features an 8 megapixel camera and WiFi. It will also be powered by Android 2.2.
Unfortunately, the Korean manufacturer has not released any further details, nor has it said when the smartphone will be released.
