In what is perhaps a rather surprise move on Apple’s part, the gadget manufacturer recently announced that its flagship device, the iPhone, is to get an improved battery, although when this will be is anyone’s guess.

Analysts have suggested that 2012 could be a bumper year for Apple. They forecast that no fewer than 200 million iPhones could be sold by the end of next year.

It was recently reported that the iPhone 5 was to be released on the 6th September. This has been revised and the phone is now expected to be available in October.

Cave Software has announced a new game for the Apple iPhone.

In just three days, Apple sold 1.7 million handsets of its iPhone 4. This apparently is better than Apple’s own expectations. In an interview Steve Jobs, Apple’s Chief Executive Officer said: “This is the most successful product launch in Apple’s history.
