
Nokia has been launching a large number of Windows Phone 7 handsets as well as a fair number of traditional Symbian devices over the last couple of months. However, it appears the Lumia 910 isn’t one of them.

It’s been suggested that the Nokia Lumia 900 will be in the shops in the UK by June 2012.
While Windows Phones have not taken off as much as Microsoft hoped, the software giant has nevertheless managed to gain in other ways.

It seems that Sony Ericsson is targeting the Indian market with no fewer than 11 smartphones being offered.

It has been reported that Nokia has sold over 450 patents (about 47%) to Sisvel. Most appear to relate to wireless technology.

It’s been long thought that Microsoft, while doing a deal with Nokia, has been actively pursuing a takeover for the Finnish manufacturer.

RIM, the Canadian manufacturer of the BlackBerry, has announced there will be an enforced delay of its latest dual-core BlackBerry 10 handsets.

There is a rumour circulating the mobile phone world that Nokia will sell its smartphone division to Microsoft.

Nokia certainly seems to be pushing its Windows Phone 7 (WP7) handsets with a variety of marketing efforts. The latest is the production of a limited number of Lumia 800 devices with a Batman theme.

This is the Lumia 710, and reports suggest its launch is imminent.
