Tesco Application Updated

tescoiphone Tesco Application UpdatedIf you use your iPhone to search and order from Tesco, then you’ll be pleased to learn the application has been updated. The newer version now contains a barcode reader. So, rather than tapping the screen, you can now simply scan an item straight from your iPhone.
Speaking in a press release, Laura Wade who is the Chief Executive Officer for Tesco online said: “We’re always looking for ways to make life easier for customers and for busy mums in particular. The barcode scanner will make online ordering much quicker for those that have an iPhone.
“Customers can simply scan the barcode of grocery products stocked by Tesco whilst on the go and add them into their online shopping basket.
“This is the perfect solution for iPhone lovers that are always forgetting to add items to their shopping list or haven’t the time to even write one!”
In related news if you are waiting for the white version of the Apple iPhone 4, you are going to have to wait a little longer. It seems the launch of the white handset has been put back till 2011. And well into the year by all accounts.
A spokesman for Apple said in a press release: “We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone yet again, but we’ve decided to delay its release until this spring.”
Some commentators have taken a cynical approach to this statement believing that the company is really letting its customers down gently; they believe Apple are not going to produce a white version.
