UK Networks confirm iPhone 4 availability on the Horizon
With the official iPhone 4 announcement being made just recently, already major networks are jumping on the bandwagon for prospective sales.
It comes as no surprise that the current providers of the revered smartphone, O2 , Orange and Vodafone, will be selling the new model. What hasn’t been announced as yet however, is the bottom-line UK price for Apple’s new prodigy.
O2 were the first provider to make a statement on the matter, promising existing O2 customers on a contract an easy way of getting hold of the new iPhone 4, offering a new upgrade option (full details of which are still waiting to be announced).
Vodafone, however, are seemingly flanking in on O2’s domination of the market, which is also promising its customers services which are to include the new iPhone model, assuring potential buyers that it will be offering the most reliable service for UK mobile browsing.
Which leaves Orange, who has (not surprisingly), also announced an intention to sell Apple’s new smartphone release. Incidentally, Orange have yet to release details, but instead have issued the following statement: “Orange UK will launch iPhone 4 on June 24th. Further information on pre-registration, pricing and tariff plans will be revealed in due course.”
Perhaps Orange are merely buying their time to play upon Vodafone and O2’s offerings – until then, it is merely a matter of time until full pricing and details are announced by the three major networks.
