About Samsung Recycle

Samsung Recycle is run by MTR Group and operates in Essex, but works in partnership with Samsung itself.

It specialises in buying and recycling Samsung devices, including Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and wearables. However, it also recycles a range of other manufacturers' phones and gadgets too - such as iPhones, Android mobiles, and smartwatches.

When you sell your device to Samsung Recycle, it uses a checkbox system to find out the exact state of your phone. If it's a broken or damaged handset, select exactly what is broken, and the company will give you its most accurate quote possible. It even buys some phones with liquid damage, provided the device still works fine, which many recyclers won't do.

Free postage is available, and you can choose payment in the form of a bank transfer, cheque, or sometimes retail vouchers - including ones you can put towards a new Samsung device. The company sends out payments around two working days from when it receives your phone.
